Art group brushes up to prepare for latest exhibition

A village’s art group will be displaying a wide range of pieces at its latest exhibition.

Members of Napton Art Group will showcase their work at its Autumn Art and Craft Exhibition at the event running on both Saturday and Sunday.

The group has over 70 members who will be displaying their work in oils, watercolour, acrylic and pastels.

There will also be craft items, card sales and a raffle.

This will take place at Napton Village Hall between 10am - 5pm both days. Admission is £1 and children enter free.

The refreshments are well known for their quality with soup, cakes and savouries as well as tea and coffee for sale.

The group holds its regular weekly meetings at Napton Village Hall on Thursday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm. Prospective members are welcome to drop in for a chat. There are monthly demonstrations on different techniques and Saturday workshops are held about four times a year.
