THE work of Coventry’s Belgrade Theatre will be heading off the stage and into some unique settings from June 9 to 15.
These exclusive events, called The Belgrade Theatre Unplugged, will see professional actors perform rehearsed readings of scenes from some of the Belgrade’s upcoming productions, including Charlie Peace.
The first event will take place in the grounds of Compton Verney at 1pm on Sunday, June 9.
Tickets to The Belgrade Theatre Unplugged are included with admission for Compton Verney.
There will be the opportunity to enjoy the readings over a meal at The Butchers Arms Restaurant in Priors Hardwick on Wednesday, June 12. Reservations must be made in advance by calling the restaurant on 01327 260 504.
On Thursday, June 13 the focus moves to Rugby School’s Lewis Art Gallery. Entrance to this event is free and includes a special introduction by the curator of the gallery.
The final day, on Saturday June 15 as is at Draycote Water at 1pm with free entry. People can either bring their own picnic or buy food from the visitor centre.
