Pub looking to jazz up Sunday lunch with live music gig

A Midlands based band is coming to perform at The George in Kilsby on Sunday.

John Dunmore’s New Orleans Jazz and Boogie Band are to perform from 1pm to 4pm at the pub.

It is made up of John Dunmore on reeds and vocals, Ron Radford on the trombone, Glynn Murray on the bass, Dave kid’ Rooker on drums, mad’ Mike Taylor on the keyboard with Dave Seymour on the banjo and guitar.

It will be the first of two music nights coming to the pub with an open night to be performed on Friday February 6.

The open mic acoustic evening with George Hougez and friends starts at 8.30pm.

It will give people the chance to perform on the night or to simply listen to the music.

Both music events are part of the regular line up of events taking place at the pub in Kilsby.
