Reanaissance at Farthingstone

AN ELIZABETHAN evening of music will be coming to Farthingstone on Saturday.

PIVA, inspired by music of the renaissance, will be performing at the Joy Mead Gardens. They will perform with authentic costumes and reproductions of historical instruments, including shawms, hurdy gurdy, curtal, bagpipes and recorder to provide a high quality level of dance music.

They will give lively performances of songs from the period.

There will be a bar run during the concert while The Kings Arms in the village will be offering a post-concert supper on request when booking tickets.
