Musicians come to Daventry district

The Canal Boat Crew will play two dates in Braunston, one in Weedon and another in Stowe starting on Saturday June 3.

They are not even a group as most of the members will have not met each other before setting off for the tour.

Each evening the crew will be hosting a relaxed, all inclusive session of acoustic music in the various pubs and clubs we are visiting as we travel along the waterway.

They are also welcoming people to enjoy the evening by singing, playing along or even just listening to the concert.

Everything is totally acoustic, as we do not have space on the boat for any amplification equipment.

There is no charge for anyone who would like to come along and join us.

The first date is at The Admiral Nelson in Braunston on Saturday June 3, followed by the Heart of England pub in Weedon the following day. They plat at the Narrow Boat in Stoweon Friday June 8 and the Boat House in Braunston a day later. All gigs start around 8.30pm.

This will be followed by gigs in Warwickshire and Milton Keynes.
