Live music from eight different acts over two days and a wide range of drinks will be available at a beer festival in a village pub.
The Eydon Beer Festival, which will take place at the Royal Oak pub in the village starts tomorrow (Friday) and runs through to Saturday.
The entertainment starts at 7.30pm on Friday when the band Spank! will be performing.
The band is a dynamic fusion of raucous roots and blues-rock which aims to acquaint younger onlookers with the glory of British Rhythm and Blues.
At the same time, the band hopes to remind more senior attendees of the halcyon days of luminaries such as the early Stones, Dr Feelgood and the Yardbirds.
On Saturday, the music will start from 1pm with Kiss Me Judas.
The covers band is based in South Northamptonshire and plays a mix of classic and modern rock from the likes of Thin Lizzy, Bad Company, Deep Purple, ZZ Top, Queen, Billy Idol, The Cult, Alice Cooper and Snow Patrol.
Self-taught instrumentalist, Si Hayden, will follow at 2.15pm. He has been described as an acoustic virtuoso by the guitar players bible Guitarist Magazine, recorded 27 albums and performs live both solo and (on other occasions) with Celtic rock violinist Joe O’Donnell.
Combining the exuberant spirit of English folk with a 21st century sensibility Daisy Chain Duo follow on at 3.15pm. The duo bring warmth and fire and makes your taste buds with salubrious tones from the acoustic guitar, cello, vocals and quirky beats.
Krissy Matthews will then be performing from 4.15pm. At the age of just 20, she has performed with the likes of John Mayall, Walter Trout, Jeff Healey, Rick Vito, Chris Farlowe and Bernie Marsden.
She has also played direct support for the likes of Joe Bonamassa, Robben Ford, Derek Trucks, Gregg Allman and Toto.
Following on at 5.15pm, Leigh Chambers will be taking the audience on a journey of pop and rock covers ranging from the 1970s up until the current day.
Visitors will be able to enjoy the genius of guitar heroes Papa George, an internationally acclaimed, powerful, deep blues player and former Whitesnake guitarist Micky Moody at 6.45pm.
The pair combine to make one of the most versatile vocal/guiyar duos on the circuit.
The final act is 8.15pm, 3rd Degree LeBurn, who is a highly experienced world class entertainer who fuses a heady mix of soul, funk, blues, rock and reggae into his own unique and engaging style.
He has performed with a number of different musicals legends including Kool and the Gang, Chaka Khan, Debbie Harry and Blondie, Patty La-Belle, John Lee Hooker and many more.
The festival is open from 6pm until closing time on Friday and from noon to closing time on Saturday and entry to the event is free.
Timings of the acts are performing are approximate and could change.
There will also be a range of 12 real ales and eight artisan ciders served across the two days while barbecue food will be available.
