Lamport Hall will be hosting its traditional Festival of Country Life again over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The Edwardian stable block houses more than fifty stallholders selling crafts and antiques. There will also be a dedicated food hall showcasing suppliers of locally made foods. In the parkland surrounding the hall there will be many displays for the whole family, from falconry and working horses to classic cars and a record 15 vintage steam engines.
The hall’s assistant property manager Neil Lyon said: “This year’s Lamport Festival of Country Life gives every family the chance to have a great day out in the local countryside. It promises to be a lot of fun for children of all ages and we hope visitors will enjoy the chance to see the animals and connect with rural life.
Admission prices are £8 for adults, £7 for OAPs £7 and £5 for children aged 11-16. Children under 11 go free. Family tickets cost £22.00.
The hall and gardens at Lamport will also be open to visitors on both days, 2pm to 5pm.
