British film to be shown at village hall

Jane Horrocks stars in a classic British movie which is the first to be shown by Braunston Cinema Club this year.

Little Voice tells the story of the pathetically shy LV lives the life of a recluse listening to her late father’s old records in her room and in the process driving her abusive, loud-mouthed mother, Mari Hoff, to distraction.

Michael Caine and Jim Broadbent also appear in the show.

It can be seen at Braunston Village Hall on Saturday January 31 and it starts at 7.30pm.
