Meryl Streep and A Street Cat Named Bob will be among the feel good movies to be shown at village halls in the Daventry district during March.

The films Florence Foster Jenkins, A Street Cat Named Bob and Touching the Void can be seen in Nether Heyford, Braunston and Ravensthorpe.

The award winning actress Meryl Streep stars in the title role of Florence Foster Jenkins which can be seen on Thursday, March 16, in Nether Heyford Village Hall at 7.45pm.

Florence Foster Jenkins tells the story of a New York heiress who dreamed of becoming an opera singer, despite having a terrible singing voice.

Hugh Grant also stars.

It is the true feel good story of how James Bowen, a busker and recovering drug addict, had his life transformed when he met a stray ginger cat.
