Daventry and District Housing’s Youth Board is to host two fun-filled afternoons for young people aged between eight and 15.
The fun afternoons take place between noon and 4pm on Thursday, October 30 and Friday, October 31 at the Phoenix Centre on Ashby Road, Daventry.
On Thursday, the Fun Zone will feature various sporting activities, including skate ramps, parachute games, football, as well as a disco and karaoke.
On Friday, the Freaky Friday Arts Zone will include Halloween-themed games, arts and crafts, batik and plate decorating.
Katie Jones, youth development officer for Daventry and District Housing, said: “I’m really pleased that our Youth Board are again able to fund these free sessions for other local young people during the holidays.
“This is the second year we have worked with the Phoenix Centre to provide holiday activities and we hope it will be just as successful as last year. Our Youth Board members are especially looking forward to seeing the youngsters’ artwork and playing Halloween themed party games.”
