A photographer has been captured life through his lens and the resulting pictures can be seen at a new exhibition at Daventry Library.

Michael Green from Staverton has put together a lot of pictures to be displayed at the North Street venue until Saturday November 26.

It is a display of 20 original photos taken by Michael over the last four years and include photos taken around the country but with a number of them from the local area such as Braunston and Fawsley.

He said: “As a child I had a small camera and was always keen to record the world through it at every opportunity.

“However my first real experience of photography occurred at school in the sixth form where I first used an SLR camera; learned how to develop film and make black and white prints in the darkroom.”

In addition to the 20 photos on show at the exhibition there will also be a small selection of Daventry themed Christmas cards for sale.

It is open during normal library hours. All photos are available to purchase.
