One of the UK’s oldest circuses is preparing to dazzle Daventry.
Circus Ginnett promises a night to remember at Daventry country park from March 27 to April 1 when circus director Patrick Austin brings his 200 year old family tradition in the form of a new show for 2013.
Watch balancing acts, aerial acrobats, unicycling and more performed by international artists from Hungary, Holland Ireland and the UK.
In a one and a half hour show the circus Ginnett will present the ‘crazy’ Dutch clown Anton, Patrick and his dog Vader (who likes to steal from the Big Top) and knife balancer Eva.
Tickets for the first day’s performance are the special price of £5 per seat. Usual ticket prices are £9 for adults and £7 for children with a family ticket (two adults and two children) for £27.
The show will run at 6.30pm on Wednesday March 27, at both 3pm and 6pm on March 28, 29 and 30. It will then run at 2pm and 5pm on Sunday March 31 and at 3pm only on Monday April 1.
