The village drama group are inviting Mrs Reece and her hapless troop of actors from the Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Amateur Dramatic Society from Thursday May 12 to Saturday May 14.

The group says it will be a French Farce to remember – Chase Me Up Farndale Avenue s’il vous plait!

The Farndale Avenue shows, which originated on the Edinburgh Fringe, are world renowned for their complete incompetence and this show promises to be a farce in every sense of the word – their worst and funniest yet.

Set in a Parisian hotel, the action romps along as Mrs Reece and her team find themselves tackling every challenge imaginable – collapsing scenery, comically unreliable props, sound and lights with a mind of their own, a very disruptive love triangle and more wool than anyone could cope with.

Performances are at 7:30pm each night at West Haddon Village Hall. Tickets cost from £6 to £8 (£6. To book call 01788 510503 or email [email protected]. A licenced bar will be available.
