Chance to sing with choir at special evemt at church

People can have the chance to sing alongside a well known soprano as part of a special workshop taking place in Daventry on Saturday.

The JuditSingers, as part of Daventry Arts Festival, are holding the event at the town’s Methodist Church.

The open singing workshop led by a local well-known and highly regarded soprano Judit Felszeghy who has performed a number of concers in the local area.

She will have been seen most recently by audiences performing as a soloist with the Daventry Choral Society in their latest concert.

    A spokesman for The JuditSingers said: “We welcome anyone who wishes to sing along with us and enjoy the uplifting and health enhancing experience of choir singing.

    “No previous experience is necessary and the ability to read music is not required.”

    The event runs from 2pm to 4pm and is one of the final events of the nine day Daventry Arts Festival.

    Tickets are available on the door at a cost of £2 and includes some light refreshments.
