Daventry Under-10s took on Dunstable.

The first half was end-to-end, and the teams were level at the break.

Daventry took an early lead at the start of the second half, but it was Dunstable who finished stronger to win 4-3.

The second match was equally exciting, with all of the players getting a run-out, but it was Dunstable who again emerged as narrow 6-4 winners.

Bletchley giants have too much for Daventry

A spirited second-half performance couldn’t stop Daventry Under-14s from losing 50-7 to a huge Bletchley side.

Playing into the wind in the first half, Daventry found themselves 40-0 adrift at the break. In the second half it was much more even, and Daventry scored a try from Harry Hayward that was converted by Ben James. Bletchley hit back to score two more tries but it was an encouraging second-half showing.

This weekend Daventry take on Towcestrians.

Double defeat

Daventry’s Under-6 and Under-7 teams also took on Dunstable, and unfortunately lost both games.
