A Saints-inspired England earned a 41-21 win over a CONSUR XV in Montevideo on Sunday night.

Ben Foden, twice, Tom Wood and Harlequins-bound Paul Doran-Jones dotted down and Stephen Myler added six points with the boot as the Red Rose rolled to victory in the first match of their tour of South America.

Luther Burrell, like Myler, appeared for the England senior side for the first time in the game, while Courtney Lawes and Lee Dickson were also on show.

Alex Corbisiero, who moves to Northampton from London Irish this summer, saw yellow during the second half.

No.8 Billy Vunipola scored a first-half hat-trick, as England defied Corbisiero and Jonny May’s sin-binnings to run out easy winners.
