WEEDON racer David Bryant travelled to Belgium at the weekend for his first overseas race.
Along with fellow driver Mark Jessop, he was taking on the world famous Spa Grand Prix circuit in a one-hour Classic Sports Car meeting.
After strong showings at Snetterton and Brands Hatch already this year, the pair will switch to Mark’s car which has had further development for the event.
David said: “My RSD-backed Toyota has run brilliantly this season but is restricted by the MR2 championship regulations, the weight of the car has held us back. Mark’s car has a more powerful engine and weighs less, so we are going for a class win.”
The Spa circuit is regarded by many as the best in the world and its steep gradients and changeable weather have been the scene of many famous Formula One moments.
