THE Daventry Netball League thanked Danetre School for allowing them to use their sports hall on Sunday to play three of their league matches.

Special thanks to the caretaker Mr John Thorne who opened the school and found netball posts very early on Sunday morning.

The Cummins v Helix match will now be played on Sunday, November 6 at 9am. Apologies to both teams concerned. The next match was Fusion against G&Ts. Fusion took an early lead with a demanding control on the court and excellent defence to win 25 to 16.

Next on court was Barclaycard versus Grafton Gate. This match could have gone either way with both teams keeping the play tight in the centre court, but Barclaycard finally pushed ahead to take the win 30 to 24.

The final match, Hornets against Ashmore Tornadoes, saw Hornets edging away in the final quarter to win 24 to 21.
