The two Daventry Town teams fought it out, with the A team claiming the home venue.

The first two games were shared equally with the Foster pairing of Daz and John defeating Rachel Harris and Paul Bodsworth 2-0. Richard Denis and Dave Harris repeated this as they put away Bully and John Foster.

John Foster then beat Sam Harris 2-1 in the first of the singles games. Dave Harris the made it all even again as he put Nigel Foster to the sword 2-0.

The home side then re-took the lead through Darran Foster as he beat Paul Bodsworth 2-1. Paul Bull saw off Richard Denis 2-1 and Ray Jones closed the match with a 2-0 win over Rachel Harris. Final Score 5 – 2

The Con Club travelled to the Woodford Social Club.

The away side replied through Stu Coe 2-1 and Ivan Lester 2-0 against Stu Scarsbrook and Tom Goswell.

The home side bit back as Chris Flynn then Callum Lovell took their games both by 2-0 from Simon Adkins and Ray Hobrow.

B Division

The Con Club B side played host to Weatherspoon’s in the first of the B Division matches.

And they started well as Packy Andrews and Mick Mynard took their game 2-0 away from Shaun Hicken and Ki Swain.

Anthony Mason and Dominic Harvey then brought the match equal as they too took their game 2-0 from Rose Binder and Bruce Andrews.

Alan Jones then put the home side back in the lead as he took his game 2-1 against Ki Swain.

But once again Anthony Mason brought the away side equal as he defeated Bruce Andrews 2-0.

Shaun Hicken made up for his earlier doubles defeat as he came back to beat Connor Taylor 2-0 in his game.

But again the game was to be tied as Mick Mynard dealt out a two nil defeat to Dominic Harvey, but it was the away side that was to make it over the line first as Troy Miller took his game by the same score line against Donna Taylor. Final Score 3-4

Unfortunately the results sheets were not received for the other two matches, but the results are known
