Scott Goodwin is using a combination of Pilates and pencil sessions to keep his Long Buckby players sharp during the big freeze.
The Bucks have been out of action for the past two weeks and have been forced to postpone Saturday’s game against UCL Premier Division table-toppers Holbeach United at Station Road.
But Goodwin isn’t allowing his men to slack off, calling them in for a different form of training, which is testing them physically and mentally.
He explained: “We’ve not got a massive amount of toys at our disposal so I’ve been introducing things like Zumba and Pilates.
“It’s crucial we’re getting some fitness in and we’re also doing pencil sessions to go through bits and bobs.
“It’s annoying, but we’re doing everything we can.”
