Daventry Town Vikings suffered a 4-2 John Henry League defeat at the hands of Billing United.

Report: Daventry were on the back foot from the start, and they went in at half-time trailing 3-0. Oliver Starling pulled one back for a revitalised Daventry at the start of the second half, but Billing scored again to go 4-1 ahead. Daventry kept pressing and a goal from William Bellis made it 4-2, but it was too little, too late.

Hancock at the double to sink Bugbrooke

Jack Hancock scored twice as Daventry Town Saxons Under -11s rattled up a magnificent 7-0 win over Bugbrooke.

Report: Stylish Saxons secured their third successive victory. Two well-taken first-half goals from Jack Hancock owed much to the endeavour and interplay of Joe Pursey, Luke Barker-Poole and man-of-the-match CharlieTrayford.

Dylan Overton drove Saxons on after the break and Pursey got himself on the scoresheet. James Currivan made it four with a debut goal and Charlie Trayford made it five. Two further great saves from stand-in keeper Josh Adams preserved Saxons clean sheet.

Luke Barker–Poole made it 6-0 and Taylor Noel completed the scoring.

Bragg does the trick for on-song Daventry

Sean Bragg and Jamie Holmes were in the goals as Daventry Town Vikings Under-13s completed an impressive 5-2 win at Billing United.

Report: A couple of early goals from man of the match Jamie Holmes gave Daventry an advantage they never looked like giving up. The midfield’s passing was lovely to watch and this led to chances for Ben, Nathan, Tom, Callum and Blaine before Sean scored just before half time, but Billing pulled one back to make it 3-1. In the second half with Sean completed his hat-trick.

James, Jordan, Jack G and Min looked solid at the back and Jack Ramsden was as reliable as ever in goal. Billing scored a second goal with 10 minutes to go.

Adams and Hourigan double up in Vikings victory

Max Adams and Finn Hourigan both scored twice as Daventry Town Vikings Under-11s beat Kingsthorpe & Cogenhoe 6-0 in the John Henry League.

Report: Daventry took the lead through Reagon Gibson after just two minutes. Hourigan soon made it 2-0, and after 20 minutes Adams scored the third and added a second to make ir 4-0. Hourigan scored his second before Daniel Brown completed the scoring.

Tough day for Daventry as Stars hit six in late show

Daventry Town Under-10s were beaten 6-1 by Soccer Stars.
