Woodford United face a tough trip to in-form ON Chenecks on Saturday.

The Reds will go into the game on the back of a narrow 3-2 defeat to fellow strugglers Bourne last weekend, the first match since the resignation of Mitch Austin as manager.

The win saw Bourne move out of the bottom two, bit Woodford were close to claiming the win themselves.

The Reds were gifted a first minute lead when Seb Hood’s backpass beat his keeper Aaron Bellairs.

Bourne were level four minutes in, and they went in front on 15 minutes through Craig Rook.

Woodford equalised six minutes before the break through Tom Davies.

But the decisive goal for Bourne arrived on the hour, and they could find no way back into the game.

Woodford v Bourne: Dom Roggero, Ridwan Emran, Jakub Przewozniak, Khalid Al-Saud, Robson Santinho, Kieran Worrall, Tobi Ojutalo, Karlo Morgan (Liam Baxter), Bello Abdoul-Nasser, Hristo Andonov, Tom Davies.
