THE Soccer Sevens League’s top two teams Werder Flemin and Ajax Treesdown shared the points after playing out a 1-1 draw.

Dean Fleming continued to show his eye for goal with a clever finish to put Werder 1-0 up.

Jack Wise scored late on with a fine strike which earned Ajax a share of the spoils.

The Sons of Pitches ran out 4-1 winners against Newnham FC.

Damon Black, Tommy Waldock, Sam Burke all found the net early on, then the goal of the night come from a long-range Paul Beevor drive.

Josh Hyams found the net net for Newnham late on.

Club Tropicana kept themselves in contention for the title with a 5-0 victory against CSM Daventry.

Kev Moore and Jake Sanderson both hit doubles and Craig Hyde also found the net.

JI Sung Sparks bravery in the Tropicana goal prevented CSM from finding the net.

Olimpic Daventry continued their impressive form with a 9-2 win against F.C G.BF.

Oleg Urbanovics led the way with a four-goal haul and Pavel Chluby and Piotr Gorniak both hit doubles and Thomasz Zelichowski also found the net. Arek Jaworski and Wojtek Butynski were F.C G.B.F’s goalscorers.
