It’s been another bad week for Long Buckby, who suffered two defeats in the United Counties League Premier Division.

They followed up Saturday’s 7-1 hammering at the hands of Newport Pagnell with a 3-1 home defeat to Cogenhoe United on Tuesday, with their consolation scored by Jordan Tambling-Peart.

This Saturday, rock-bottom Buckby travel to Eynesbury Rovers.

In division one, Woodford United’s promising start to the season continued as they were 3-2 winners at St Neots Youth & Saints on Saturday.

Ben Foster scored twice and Thomas Waldock the third, as United moved up to 12th.

This Saturday, Adam Knight’s men travel to Potton United.
