AFC Casey’s eased to a 6-0 win over newly-promoted Rugby Prince Of Wales in the Rugby & District Sunday League Division One.

Prince have struggled this season, and their encounter with a strengthened Casey’s provided little relief, ending in another emphatic defeat .

However it took a penalty midway through the first half for Casey’s to break the deadlock, Stuart Clarke thrashing the ball home after Alex O’Connor was fouled.

This was quickly followed with a superb headed goal from Alex O’Connor, and Clark added his second shortly before the interval.

Prince of Wales tried to fight back but a strike from Leigh Roberts ended any thoughts of a fightback.

Liam Fuller then scored two goals that can be only described as outstanding for Casey’s to finish the game off.

Casey’s defence was faultless with Sheridan, Eales, Burkett and Shackelton along with Tom Consentino were in super form. Casey’s face a difficult trip to Wootton on Sunday in the Northants County Cup.
