Inter were crowned champions of the Monday 5-a-side League after a 7-1 victory against runners up Hardcore Elite.

Nick Hammond put Elite ahead early on with a smart finish but Ryan Waldock and Craig a Hyde gave Inter a 2-1 half time lead. Inter turned on the style in the second half with Waldock and Hyde both completing hat-tricks and Player of the Season Tomasz Zelichowski completing the scoring with a fine drive.

Notin’ Forest finished the season in style with their first win, 3-1 at the expense of Black Knights.

Richard Mansell celebrated his birthday by opening the scoring early on and Ben James doubled Forest’s lead on the stroke of half time.

Captain of the season Marcus Thorneycroft sealed the win with a fine strike into the far corner. Nat Miller pulled a goal back for the Knights late on.

Arsene Vaders finished the season in fine form with a 3-0 against Bunfica. Jake Woodman was in inspired form for Vaders with all three goals.

Soccer Sevens’ Monday evening 5-a-side football league is kicking off this month @ Daventry Town FC 3G Pitches and the Sunday 7-a-side League is starting on January 18 at Daventry Sports Park. Winterbourne strikes late for Ryn Persie

RYN Persie were 4-3 winners against Olympiacos in an end-to-end game in the Thursday League.

Ricky Jones scored a fine header early on but Josh Hyams equalised for Olympiacos on the strike of half time. Two Dylan Jones strikes put Persie in the driving seat but Darragh Davis and Joel Lacey levelled things up. Ben Winterbourne’s calm finish stole the points late on.

Millwall were 3-1 winners against Top of the table DGFC.

Ryan Waldock put Millwall ahead but Rob Oliver equalised before half time. Nick Saker’s screamer and a late Waldock goal sealed the points.

Boca Seniors continued their fine form with a 3-2 win against Teenage Mutant Ninja Skrtels.

Darren Taylor and Ryan Swann put Boca ahead but Jake Sanderson and Adam Creaney levelled things up.

Taylor’s late second goal was enough to seal the three points. Supporting Lisbon’s were 9-0 winners against LMA. Alex Kibblewhite was in unstoppable form with six goals, Phil Richardson also weighed in with a hat-trick of his own.

Forgone Conclusion were 4-2 winners against Black Knights. Ryan Swann was on target with a double, Danny Harris and Sam Burke also found the net. The Knights replied through Kurt Baker and goalkeeper Cameron Watson’s fine finish.
