SOCCER SEVENS: Hardcore get league campaign off to a flyer

Hardcore Elite were 6-3 winners against FC Davcelona in the new Monday League.

Martin Fincham, Lee James and Nick Hammond all scored a brace apiece. Wojtek Butynski, Kuba Kusija and Dawid Rynkowski all found the net for Davcelona.

Champions Inter started the season how they finished last season with a 6-3 win against FC Palace. Nat Miller gave Palace the lead but Craig Hyde equalised immediately. In the second half Tomasz Zelichowski hit four goals and Hyde added his second for Inter. Miller added his second and Alex Stampolakis finished a fine more for Palace.

M City were 19-1 winners against Birmingham Pity. Dylan Jobes led the way with nine goals, Joe Hassett hit four goals, Robbie Farrell a hat-trick, Blair Girvin a brace and Charlie Spreez also found the net. Jordan Brown’s fine strike got Pity on the scoresheet.

Smith hat-trick inspires leaders

FCG remain top of the Sunday League table after a 9-0 win against Birmingham Pity.

Daniel Smith was in fine form with a hat-trick, Jack Wise, Henry Spears and Tom Freezer all fired doubles. Champions Saxons Sevens bounced back from last weeks opening day defeat with a 3-0 victory against Puyol Pantsdown. Craig Hyde, Joe Corney and Jake Sanderson with the all important goals.

Boca Seniors were 4-1 winners against Admiral Nelson. Ryan Swann fired a double, Matt Payne and James Taylor also found the net. Ben Hallett was on target for the Nelson.

Murder on Zidanes Floor were 2-1 winners against Inter. Dan Clarke opened the scoring but a Sam Birtwistle penalty equalised for Inter.

A late Dan Wilkes strike stole the points. Olimpic Daventry came out on top against Dankburn Rovers with a 4-1 win. Pavel Hruby was the match winner with a hat-trick and Vadim Vlas sealed the points. Liam Kenny smashed home a consolation goal for Rovers.

Brown rescues a point for title challengers Millwall

Olympiacos halted Millwall’s Thursday League title challenge earning a 2-2 draw.

Scott Cross put Millwall ahead but Darragh Davis equalised. Lee Tozer finished well with a one on one but a late Ash Brown goal earned Millwall a point.

DGFC were 8-0 winners against Forgone Conclusion to remain top of the table.

Jamie Sedgley and Dan Wilkes both notching hat-tricks with Matty Russ and Craig Waugh also finding the net.

Boca Seniors were 9-0 winners against Black Knights. Ryan Swann led the way with a hat-trick, Matt Payne notched a brace, Ian Waldock, Josh Payne, Tom Sparks and Henry Spears completed the scoring.

Supporting Lisbons were 5-0 winners against RYN Persie to keep themselves in the title race.
