Long Buckby boss Phil Mason says he still needs to add three players to his squad before he can consider it complete.
The Bucks boss has overseen a raft of changes at Station Road since taking over at the end of the pre-season campaign.
He has brought in a host of new players, including many of the men he knew from his 10-year tenure at Woodford United.
But Mason still feels he requires further reinforcements as his team bid to continue their good start to the season in the UCL Premier Division.
“I still need three players,” said the manager, who has steered the Bucks to eight points from their opening five league games.
“When I took over it was difficult to get people in because I came in quite late and most players had clubs.
“But now we’re managing to get some in and I’m still looking to add more quality to the squad.”
Buckby go to AFC Kempston Rovers on Saturday, hoping to improve on the 3-3 draw they claimed on the opening day of the season.
And Mason said: “We were probably fortunate to get a draw in that game, but now we’re looking to finish the job.”
