Long Buckby will be aiming to end a run of six games without a win then they host Huntingdon Town at Station Road on Saturday.
Phil Mason’s men haven’t won since September 17 when they triumphed 2-1 at high-flying Cogenhoe United, and haven’t won at home since August 27 when Newport Pagnell were sent packing 6-1.
On the positive side though, Bucks have only lost one in four, with leaders Deeping again proving too hot to handle on Saturday, seeing off Mason’s men 6-1.
Buckby gave the top dogs an early shock when they took a third minute lead through top scorer Josh Crawley, but Mitch Griffiths equalised for Rangers two minutes later.
Josh Moreman fired Deeping in front from 20 yards after 61 minutes and eight minutes later Matt Heron’s half volley from just inside the box extended the lead. The home tally was doubled in the final 12 minutes. Alex Beck scored the fourth on 78 minutes, Heron scored his second seven minutes later and Ondre Odain rounded off the scoring.
