Daventry Drayton Grange Reserves made it three wins out of three as they saw off Desborough & Rothwell 2-0 to go top of Northants Combination Reserve Division Two.

Rhys Collins and substitute Joe Pidgeon were the men on the mark for Grange.

Staying in the same division, West Haddon Albion Reserves suffered a 16-2 pasting at the hands of Wellingborough Gleneagles. The Albion consolations came from Ben Pryer and Karl Shingler.

Drayton Grange first team were winners, edging to a 2-1 victory at Corby Pegasus in division one. Matthew Russ and Chris Trill scored the goals. Also in division one, Weedon went down 2-1 at home to Old Grammarians, despite a strike from James Feasey.

West Haddon Albion fared much better than their reserve team, as they drew 3-3 at Finedon Volta in division two.

Tom Yorston scored twice with the third from Jack Scally.
