WITH a new three-year development plan finalised, Daventry Town FC aim to give the local community a boost by increasing the football opportunities for everyone who wants to take part.
New initiatives include a mini soccer school for toddlers, a player development centre, and team entries into the Midland Junior Premier League.
The club also plans to implement a new strategy to increase participation from girls (to suppor ttheir newly- promoted Ladies’ Midland Combination side) and players who have disabilities.
They aim is to increase opportunities for any players who want to take part while also ensuring a stable pathway for those individuals who require a higher level of competition and want to further their careers.
The club say they are here to serve the community and are made up of many volunteers from the town and surrounding area who give up their time for what they believe in.
