Battling Inter keep up pressure in the title chase

INTER A continued their chase of second place with a 4-2 victory against Family United in the Soccer Sevens League.

Lloyd Monger and Troy Wells put Inter two goals up early on but Anthony Hyams pulled one back for United on the stroke of half-time.

John Berry and Tom Sparks put the game out of United’s reach. Ryan Gallagher scored late on for United.

In an end-to end game champions Inter B came out on top against Counterfeit Madrid with a 4-3 victory.

Inter’s goals came from a double apiece from Dean Flemming and Chris Trill.

Counterfeit scored several fine team goals through Sam Burke, Luke Bishop and Martin Grainger.

The final game saw two teams in contention for second place face each other.

LMS took an early lead through Jordan Shingler’s clever finish.

Late in the second-half Piotr Gorniak continued his prolific form in front of goal with a fine finish to equalise. Minutes later Mariusz Sawoski wrapped up the points for Olimpic.
