This event was held at the Olympic Pool, Coventry, and was swum long course (50m).
The competition was for swimmers (girls aged 10-13yrs and boys 10-14yrs) who had to achieve tough qualifying times in order to compete.

The girls finished in a creditable 14th position.
Emma Bond was selected to represent the Northampton SC 4x200m freestyle relay team which came eighth and Sophie Iacovides was also selected to compete in the 4x100m freestyle relay which finished in sixth place.
Both swimmers were selected for NSC as part of the county development squad structure /partnership.
This was a great reward for the hard work these girls have put in throughout the swimming season.
