The Northamptonshire all-rounder - who made his international debut against Ireland last month - will join up with the team for the five-match series which gets under way next Tuesday.

Middlesex’s Eoin Morgan returns to captain the side having missed the Ireland match due to his IPL commitments.

“The match against Ireland was an unforgettable experience, but we didn’t get to play due to the weather.

“To be given this second opportunity is flattering.”

The first game takes place at Edgbaston with matches to follow at the Kia Oval (June 12), Ageas Bowl (June 14), Trent Bridge (June 17), and Durham ICG (June 20).
