Trent Copeland has agreed to rejoin Northamptonshire for three more LV= County Championship matches.

The Australian seam bowler made a huge impact on his arrival earlier this summer and took 36 wickets at an average of 16 during his two-month stay.

He has since gone home and there had been slightly protracted negotiations about whether he would be able to come back to aid the County’s promotion push.

However, they have been sorted out and he will now be back to play in the matches against Essex at Colchester, Glamorgan at home and Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl.
