Club lands sponsor deal

CRICK Athletic Football club have received a financial boost.

TalkTalk, Britain’s home phone and broadband provider, will sponsor the club for the next 12 months.

The funding will be used to purchase new goals for the junior nine-a-side team.

Crick Athletic FC are an FA Chartered Standard club and have been going for many years with the Colts section being established in 1986.

The club have recently received grants from the Football Foundation and Sport England which has enabled the club to begin phase one of an exciting new Sports Field project with the construction of two junior and one senior pitches, changing room facilities and a new car park.

The football club welcomes anyone interested in getting involved in football, either as a player, coach or volunteer and offers a great way to get structured exercise, learn new skills, make new friends and work as part of a team.

Tim Hawkin, manager at Crick Athletic Football Club, said: “We are very pleased that TalkTalk has chosen to support Crick Athletic Football Club over the next twelve months.

The donation will be used to purchase new goals for nine-a-side matches which will make a huge difference to the junior players belonging to the club.”

“Crick Athletic Junior Football Club is a fantastic example of a local club engaging and enthusing the next generation to enjoy sport.
