WITH tennis enthusiasts turning their attention to Wimbledon and questions as to how Murray will fair this year, how about taking up the challenge yourself and playing in Long Buckby Tennis Tournament this year.
It is the 104th tournament being played on Long Buckby sports field on July 9-10 starting at 10am on both days.
On the Saturday it is the men’s, veteran men’s, and ladies’ doubles.
The next day is all change with mixed doubles, veteran mixed doubles, junior doubles and mini singles.

Be part of an historic tournament. The standards vary from club to occasional players and it is a very sociable and enjoyable event.
All competitions start playing in pools and then progress to knockout where the competition really hots up. The rugby club bar is open and food available at the event and as always the Pimms bar will be there on Sunday. Why not go along for what promises to be an enjoyable tennis tournament.
