Talented swim stars receive their awards

Daventry Dolphins Swimming Club Annual Age Group Sprint Championships were recently held at the Daventry Leisure Centre.

Shields were also presented for 400m freestyle event: 12/u girls was won by Carey Davis; 12/u boys was won by Daniel Osborn; 14/u boys was won by Joshua Sullivan; 15/o boys was won by

Medals were also presented to swimmers who took part in the Northamptonshire County ASA Championship. Points were awarded for all events in each stroke
and totalled:
Joshua Sullivan – 13yrs 3rd place backstroke; 3rd place freestyle; Daniel Osborn – 10 yrs 3rd Butterfly; George Barnes – 15 yrs 2nd place backstroke; Joshua Holman – 15 yrs 3rd place

Head Coach Belinda Smith and chairman Dieter Sullivan made all of the presentations.
All swimmers were presented with a certificate and medal for participating in the championships.
