East Haddon firsts (155-nine) scored a narrow 23-run victory over Brigstock Firsts (132 all out) in Division Two.
Best of the Brigstock batsmen was Nigel Shiells with an impressive half-century score of 58. He was finally LBW off the bowling of Jeremy Medlin who returned impressive bowling figures of five-26 for Haddon.

sts remarkable start to the season continued with a three wicket win at S&L Corby. In a rain affected match S&L posted a testing 180-nine. Buckby's spinner Sam Bevin the pick of the bowlers taking four wickets, whilst Phil Wallace also impressed only going for 20 runs off his 14 overs.
The Bucks hit their required target within the reduced overs thanks mainly to a match winning 72 from opener Adam Wallinger.
In Division Four Ashby Timken Firsts (129 all out) scored a 57-run win over Irthlingborough Town Seconds (72 all out) in a low-scoring encounter.
Ashby's Sam Scarman (five-28) and Shane Willey (four-22) won the bowling plaudits.
Near-neighbours Guilsborough Firsts also had good reason to smile after their 121-run win over Podington Firsts (120 all out).
Massive knocks from Graham Cottle (85), Benjamin Coyne (70) and John Elder (57) helped Guilsborough to a healthy 241-seven total.
Cottle also won praise for his bowling, returning figures of five-33. Team mates Mark Powell (three-24) and John Elder (two-34) also helped keep down the run-rate.
In the same division, Heyford Firsts achieved a six-wicket win over Rushton Seconds. The game witnessed Rushton's highest sixth-wicket partnership ever, putting on 125 runs.
Dayle Steventon was 72 not out and John Pike 66 not out. Heyford's David Livermore hit an impressive knock of 70.
In Division Five, Harlestone Firsts suffered a 67-run defeat against Geddington who were helped to their success by a score of 66 from Leigh Burdett.
Harlestone's Marcus Broome (46) just missed out on his half-century.
But there was better news for West Haddon who gained a three-wicket success over St Crispin & Ryelands Seconds.
Haddon's Bruce Kain (four-25) and Matt Climie (four-34) were most noteworthy bowlers and Stuart Mitchell (four-38) was also impressive.
An opening wicket stance of 193 between Fred Ward and Steven Baines secured a 10-wicket win for Gretton against St Michaels 74 (Bugbrooke) Firsts in Division Six.
St Michaels' Mario Wickremasinghe has a useful outing of 61 in his side's 192 for six.
In Division Seven Badby Firsts cruised to a six wicket victory over S&L Corby Seconds.
S&L were put into bat and laboured to a meagre total of 113-nine thanks mainly to the bowling of Sabir Khawaja, who took five wickets.
Badby romped to a winning total in just 22.5 overs, with Khawaja (41) shining with bat this time.
Andy Pettifer's bowling destroyed Stony Stratford Thirds as East Haddon Seconds racked up an eight wicket win.
Pettifer took seven-30 off 9.1 overs as the visitors were skittled out for 111.
East Haddon eased to victory for the loss of just two wickets courtesy of unbeaten knocks from James Houghton (42) and Duncan Kennedy (37).
In Division Eight, Yelvertoft Firsts (180-seven) achieved a three-wicket win over Barton Seagrave Firsts (179 all out).
Barton's Christopher Barton (71) hit an impressive knock but Toft's Matthew Cortese (four-50) kept the run-rate down. Toft's Aaron Ellis returned bowling figures of six-43.
In the same division, Kislingbury achieved a winning draw over County Hall.
In Division Nine, St Michaels Firsts beat Ashby Timken Seconds by 31 runs. St Michaels' Ian Geddes hit a half-century knock of 52 before being LBW off the bowling of Neil Auburn.
In the same division, Bold Dragoon Firsts beat Harlestone Seconds by eight wickets with Jimmy O'Dell having superb figures of eight-18 and Martin Wall hitting 52 off 35 balls.
In Division 10, St Michaels 74 (Bugbrooke) Seconds (126 all out) scored a narrow 32-run win over Raunds Town Seconds (94 all out) in a low-scoring game.
Raunds' Paul Guest returned bowling figures of four-51 and James Mason three-nine, while St Michaels' Chris Goodson took five-32.
In Division 11, near-neighbours Bugbrooke Seconds suffered a 156-run defeat to Abington Firsts.
Highlight of the game was a massive undefeated knock of 130 by Mark Laurenson.
In the same division, Heyford Seconds scored a six-wicket home win over Kettering Town Thirds in a low-scoring game.
Heyford's Christopher Peck had impressive bowling figures of six-36 and David Baker three-21.
In Division 12, Guilsborough Seconds found themselves on the receiving end of a seven-wicket defeat over Weldon Seconds.
Highspots in the game were Weldon's Conner McAlinden (five-18) and Jon Buckby (31) for Guilsborough.
In Division 13, Loddington and Mawsley Thirds beat Kislingbury Temperance by 130 runs.
The game witnessed an unbroken ninth-wicket stand of 64 between Colin Harrop (23 not out) and Stuart Coles (49 not out) which enabled the home side to reach a respectable total. Kisle's Rob Wightman had four-34.
In reply, a burst of six wickets in 10 balls destroyed the Kislingbury middle order.
Chris Plowright and Stuart Coles finished with four scalps each.
