THE Easter Bunny dropped into Daventry Country Park to leave hundreds of eggs for eager children to find.
Around 100 children, plus parents and other relatives, went along to Daventry Country Park on Easter Sunday for the annual egg hunt, organised by the Friends of Daventry Country Park and Daventry District Council.
The youngsters had great fun scouring the park’s play area as part of the annual event.
There was also a bonnet competition, won by Adam Dicks, Amelia Richardson, and Leah and Katie Milligan.
The event was supported by Tremayne and Belcher estate agents, the Daventry Express and Daventry Town Council.
Gusher editor Matt Cornish said: “It was fantastic to see so many people turn out on Easter Sunday for the egg hunt and I’d like to thank the Friends and rangers at the park who helped organise it and all the local organisations which supported it.
“The Easter Egg Hunt is a wonderful community event and everyone who went along had a great time. All the children came away with plenty of eggs.”
