Witnesses are being sought by police following fatal collision in Northamptonshire

Two people, including a motorcyclist and a motorist, have died in a road traffic collision that took place in Northamptonshire.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision

An orange motorcycle and a silver Skoda were involved in an incident outside Jacks Hill Café at about 12.30pm on the A5 north of Towcester yesterday afternoon. (March 26).

Both the motorcyclist and driver of the car sadly died at the scene.

The A5 both ways from the A43 in Towcester to the A45 is now open after yesterday's closure, Highways England reports.

Officers investigating what happened would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have any information regarding it.
