VIDEO: Floods cause road to collapse in Northamptonshire village

Motorists are being warned to take care in a village after flood water caused a culvert to start collapsing.

The problem is in Nether Heyford, around the Middle Street and Watery Lane area.

Road closures are in place, but some motorists have been ignoring them.

It is understood that the area has frequent issues with flooding during heavy rain, and it seems the recent torrential rain has damaged a culvert.
