Households whose bins were not collected on Saturday have been asked to leave them out today (Monday).
Daventry District Council said: “Following the tragic incident on Friday (8 April) and our waste and recycling contractor Amey’s decision to suspend services as a mark of respect, collections have now resumed in Daventry District.
“Collections resumed on Saturday, 9 April, including collection from outstanding Friday properties.
“Residents who were due a collection on Saturday but have not received one are asked to leave their bins and boxes out for collection today (Monday, 11 April).
“Thank you for your understanding in this matter.”
