The Daventry Sprint Triathlon will be staged again on Sunday, August 31.
The sporting challenge is open to 350 novice and experienced triathletes and many places have already been snapped up according to Rugby Triathlon Club, the organiser of the event.
Race director Garry Haynes said: “It’s brilliant that so many people have signed up for the race, and even better that they are a mix of men and women and expert and novice triathletes.”
The event is open to individuals or relay teams over the age of 15. It costs £35 for an individual entry and £50 for a relay team.
The race will start with a 400m swim at Daventry Leisure Centre, followed by a 20km bike ride through the surrounding countryside and a 5km run around Daventry Country Park. The finishing line will be in Lodge Road.
