TWO runners from Daventry are appealing for prizes to complete their fundraising raffle.
Mark Heycock and Mel Cotton (pictured) will be running next year’s London Marathon for Sense, a charity which supports and campaigns for deafblind people.
Between them they have to raise £3,000 for the charity, and to get the ball rolling they are organising a raffle.
The pair have secured prizes, including a week at a Haven holiday park in Wales, £100 in shopping vouchers plus meals, Saints and Cobblers tickets and others.
Mr Heycock said: “We’re still looking for another couple of prizes to be donated, so we will have 10 in all.”
Tickets are on sale at Campbells and Daventry Veterinary Clinic, in Stephenson Close, for £1 each.
The draw will take place on December 16 at Campbell’s offices.
