A CHEEKY Monkeys Tea Party helped raise around £400 for good causes.

Sixty families attended the Daventry NCT event at the Methodist Church Hall.

The money will go towards toddler groups in Middlemore and Timken as well as the national NCT.

Organiser Kiran Raza said: “It went brilliantly. I must say a special thank you to Chameleon Company for the puppet show and children’s entertainment they put on.

“And also to Little Softies who provided the soft play area which was great. They both did it free of charge and it really livened the atmosphere and the children loved it.

“We had 60 families turn up and at least 100 people in total. We also had eight small businesses who had stalls and I must say thank you to all the businesses who donated raffle prizes.”
