Wildlife and wildflowers will be the subject of a talk given in Daventry later this month

The speaker at the January meeting for the Daventry & District U3A will be Matt Johnson from the local Wildlife Trust talking about Inspiring Meadows.

Matt will give an illustrated talk on the wildlife and conservation of Northamptonshire’s wildflower meadows. He will be looking at what makes up a wildflower meadow, their importance, the wildlife they attract and meadow conservation projects across the county.

The talk takes place on Thursday January 21 at the Community Centre off Ashby Road in Daventry from 2pm.

The Daventry & District U3A (University of the Third Age) provides the opportunity for retired and semi-retired people to meet in a friendly environment and then pursue their interest in the creative and leisure pastimes of their choice.
