Supermarket firm Aldi is looking to recruit around two apprentices in Daventry during 2015 to support its stores as part of the Aldi Apprenticeship Scheme.

The German companis looking to recruit over 650 apprentices across the country this year during 2015 to support both its stores and distribution centres

Applications for the scheme opened in March, to coincide with the start of National Apprenticeship Week, and will close on Friday, September 11.

Aldi store apprentices are trained in all aspects of retail management during the three year course.

The scheme offers store assistant training in year one and store management training in years two and three.

Successful apprentices will be offered a deputy manager position upon completion of the course, and can progress onto assistant store manager. Apprentices will also achieve a Retail Apprenticeship Level 3 qualification.

Applications for the scheme should be submitted via Aldi’s recruitment website www.aldirecruitment.co.uk and successful candidates will be asked to attend a group interview followed by an ‘Aldi experience’ at a local store.
