STUDENTS at the Daventry campus of Northampton College have been showcasing their work to the public.

The exhibition, which displays final year art pieces, started on Thursday, June 14 and runs until Friday, July 13.

Lecturer in art at the college Rebecca Mabey said: “We are extremely impressed with the standard of work produced by our students this year and they are really looking forward to showcasing their work to the local community.”

Current student Matthew Crick, whose work will be on display at the exhibition, has just been offered a place on a contemporary sculpture course at the prestigious Camberwell College of Art. He said: “There’s no way I would be going to Camberwell if I hadn’t come here, the experience and support I’ve received has been amazing.”

The exhibition runs from 9am to 4pm during the week in the atrium of the college.
