SPECSAVERS of Daventry have made dark nights safer for the pupils of Abbey Junior School by donating high visibility vests for the walk home from school.

Staff from the store gave 30 vests to the school on October 15 and had such a positive response from excited pupils they decided to give all 156 pupils a vest and have committed to doing the same again next year.
